About Us

Jessica Dawson, LMFT, Owner

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience in the mental health field since 2009. I opened my private practice in 2018, where I focus on working with children, teens, adults, and families. Many of my referrals come from trusted sources in the community, including doctors, schools, and past clients.

Over the years, I’ve built strong, collaborative relationships with local providers. I work closely with schools to support students through IEP and 504 meetings, and I partner with California Victims of Crime and the local District Attorney’s office to advocate for those in need.

I'm deeply passionate about helping people find their voice—especially during times when it feels hardest to speak up.

A little about me and my family: I moved to the Central Coast in 1986 and grew up in Los Osos, graduating from Morro Bay High School (Go Pirates!). I earned my master’s degree in psychology from Chapman University in 2009.

My husband is a retired L.A. County Fire Captain, and together we have a busy, blended family. These days, we’re restoring our 115-year-old home while wrangling 12 chickens, two doodles, and two horses—it’s a bit of a zoo, but we love it!

All people deserve a warm, welcoming space where they can discuss concerns and solve problems. I believe that people develop and thrive in relationships that are built on trust and security. As your therapist, I will follow your lead, highlight your strengths, and collaboratively guide you toward your goals. Your wants and needs will always be my top priority!

I specialize in working with toddlers, preschoolers, high school students, and their parents and families. My educational background includes knowledge around positive and respectful parenting, how to promote secure parent-child attachment relationships, and the challenges and joys that come with the prenatal and postpartum period.

Regardless of age, I believe in the power of play, storytelling, and art to help navigate the highs and lows of life and demonstrate each person’s unique perspective. I will honor and support your connection to your neighborhood, community, and culture. I look forward to working with you and helping you meet your goals.

My goal is to provide you with a safe and encouraging space to explore, grow, and change.

It is my honor to support people in working towards lives of fulfillment and authenticity, utilizing an integrated model of therapy structured around a strengths-based, humanistic approach.

I am happy to work with individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents through this process.

I believe you have the capacity for healing and growth. Whether you are feeling stuck, isolated, or discouraged, together we can identify your strengths and implement a plan to allow you to move forward towards a life of flourishing, hope, and joy.

Navigating life’s challenges can leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, and overwhelmed but you don’t have to do it alone. Whether you're carrying the weight of past experiences, feeling tension in your relationship, or worried about your child’s emotional world, I’m here to offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood. My approach is rooted in relational psychodynamic therapy, which means we’ll gently look beneath the surface—exploring how past relationships and experiences may be shaping how you feel and relate in the present. With curiosity and care, we’ll work together to understand these patterns and create space for new ways of being. Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, or your relationship, I’m here to help you move toward greater clarity, connection, and a deeper sense of well-being.

Christy Hammer, LMFT

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, it is an honor and privilege to walk alongside individuals, couples, children, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I believe healing begins in a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard—just as you are.

Whether you're working through the effects of trauma, struggling with low self-esteem, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, I offer a grounded, compassionate space to explore what's beneath the surface. My approach is person-centered, relational, and trauma-informed—always attuned to your pace and unique needs.

I work collaboratively and gently, offering empathic, attuned LISTENING to help you make sense of your experiences and deepen your connection to your inner voice and sense of self. Rooted in Family Systems and informed by a psychodynamic perspective, my work is also creative and integrative. I draw on modalities such as projective art, sandtray therapy, somatic practices, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

No matter where you are in your journey, I welcome the opportunity to support your growth and healing.

Patrick Salisbury, AMFT

We often seek therapy when the life we’ve built no longer feels like it fits. Whether you are navigating the profound weight of grief or feeling a general sense of being 'stuck,' I am here to help you find your way back to yourself. My approach is gentle and empathic, rooted in the belief that healing comes from honoring our inner depth while finding practical ways to move forward.

By integrating the symbolic, soul-centered insights of Jungian and Depth Psychology with the structured tools of CBT, we address both the 'why' and the 'how' of your experience.

While I have a special interest in supporting neurodivergent teens and adults (ADHD/Autism), my primary mission is to help every client peel back the layers of expectation to discover their most authentic self. Together, we will create a space where your story is heard and your healing is prioritized.

Logan Rolle, APCC

"Everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to feel seen, heard, and understood, no matter their age or stage of life. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, offering a compassionate and collaborative environment where we can explore challenges, build on strengths, and foster meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy is integrative and grounded in empathy. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to shift unhelpful thought patterns, somatic therapy to help reconnect with the body, and mindfulness-based practices to support emotional regulation and present-moment awareness. With a strength-based lens, we focus on resilience, self-worth, and your innate capacity for healing and growth.

I tailor our work to meet your unique needs, values, and goals, always moving at a pace that feels safe and supportive. Above all, I believe in your ability to grow, heal, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and fulfilling.

Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I am here to walk alongside you with guidance, curiosity, and care as we work toward greater clarity, connection, and well-being."
